The truth resists simplicity, especially in the case of auto accidents where drivers and passengers have scattered information. Sometimes the accident can leave people dazed or unsure. Other times, the accident involves details no one expects.

The Tri-City Herald reports on a Kennewick woman’s death at an intersection after falling from a car.

Looking for cameras and missing cars

Authorities are on the lookout for a car and driver that may have more information regarding an accident involving a young mom falling from her friend’s vehicle after turning through an intersection. After a night out, she was on her way home and neither her friends nor authorities know why the door opened. The woman died on-scene.

Investigators pulled traffic footage to determine exactly what happened. Witnesses claim another vehicle’s involvement. If that is the case, it is unknown whether the woman’s death resulted from her friend’s vehicle hitting her after falling out or if the other vehicle struck her and continued on.

Picking up the pieces

This sudden accident involves a lot of missing pieces and scattered information right now that leaves everyone with unanswered questions. The young Kennewick mom was not wearing her seatbelt, but no one knows why the door opened. If it opened on accident, it may be a manufacturing problem. If another driver hit her without stopping, it may be a case of hit and run. In these unique motor vehicle accidents, it takes care and investigation to get to the truth and whatever justice people deserve.

In the aftermath of all this, friends and family now have to grieve over a woman with her whole life ahead of her.
